2006 Llama Camp
|
EVENT DESCRIPTION: Llama Camp offers lots of opportunities to learn new things
about llamas. Yet the schedule is flexible enough to give you time for
taking it easy. Activities may include wool art, spinning, hiking,
obstacles, packing, campfire, demonstrations of therapy dog/llama, seminars
on marketing and more. All you have to do is enjoy your friends and
llamas. Some people bring their llamas to begin teaching new
skills. Some people come to learn about this exciting hobby or business
for the first time. Some come for the rare chance to simply play with
their furry friends. Just come! Attendees will enjoy heated accommodations in a dormitory-style
lodge and catered meals throughout the event. Some private rooms with
four bunk beds are available, first-come first-served. This is a family
event. 4-H groups are welcome (with adult supervision). Llamas will use your trailer for housing. Bring panels,
tethers, buckets, hay and grain for your animals. EVENT
